Center Parcs Raise Over £200,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity
We launched our first Charity Partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity in May 2010, since then, £217,314.34 has been raised through guest donations, Center Parcs match-funding and fundraising events at Center Parcs locations.
Center Parcs and guests have been helping to raise much-needed funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity’s Beds for Bedz appeal. Beds for Bedz aims to keep families together by providing accommodation for parents whilst their children are undergoing treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Center Parcs is supporting Beds for Bedz by inviting their guests to opt-in and make a donation when booking their short break holiday, the funds donated by guests have been matched by Center Parcs.
Great Ormond Street Hospital looks after many of the country’s sickest children and houses up to 1,000 patients’ parents a week. We recognise how vital it is to both child and parent to stay together during what is often the most stressful times of their lives.
Center Parcs’ Chief Executive Officer, Martin Dalby, has said "The generosity of guests has been incredible, they have donated over £90,000 with every penny matched by us. We hope that by continuing to match our guests generosity and organising more fundraising events at Center Parcs locations, we will raise much-needed funds to keep families together at Great Ormond Street Hospital".
