Center Parcs is committed to ensuring energy management is a high priority within the way our business is managed and controlled. Our principal goals are to reduce the environmental impact of our energy usage, reduce overall energy consumption through improved efficiencies and reduce the costs associated with the utilisation of these finite resources.

Center Parcs Energy Policy

To minimise our total energy use through the reduction of energy wastage, more energy efficient design, investment in proven efficient technology and the optimisation of energy expended through current practices.

To minimise emissions of CO2 by more efficient energy usage, investment in energy efficient technology and where feasible investment in sustainable forms of energy generation. Thereby reducing our reliance on energy produced using fossil fuels.

To minimise our energy costs through knowledge based negotiations with utility suppliers based on an up to date understanding of tariffs, regulations, developments and competitive opportunities within the energy supply industry.

To increase staff and guest awareness of energy issues.  This is to be achieved by delegating the responsibility of energy conservation to individuals with effective communication of energy saving initiatives to staff through training and awareness raising events and activities. Village Energy Groups will ensure that energy management remains as key business objective which is reflected in the business plans of all functions and departments.
