Terms and Conditions for Center Parcs #cpfamilytime competition

 

For the next three weeks we are going to challenge the culture of the ‘selfie’ and instead ask you to share photos of ‘families’ taking part in weekly challenges.


Terms and Conditions week One - Thursday 8th October to Monday 12th October 2015


1. The Center Parcs ‘#cpfamilytime’ weekly promotion is open to UK residents only, aged 18 and over, except employees of Center Parcs (the Promoter), their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion.


2. To take part in the promotion, simply send us a photo via Center Parcs UK Facebook or @CenterParcsUK Twitter of your family taking part in one of the weekly challenges containing the hashtag ‘#cpfamilytime’


3. For the purposes of this promotion, an entry is received when the participant sends or uploads a photo/s to our social media pages (https://www.facebook.com/CenterParcsUK or https://twitter.com/CenterParcsUK) containing the hashtag #cpfamilytime


4. In order to be eligible for entry into this prize promotion (the "Promotion") you (the "Participant") must submit your images (the "Visual"), taken by the Participant, of you and your friends/family participating in activities, experiences or events. The Participant will need to upload the Visual to Twitter or to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CenterParcsUK or https://twitter.com/CenterParcsUK) using the hashtag ‘#cpfamilytime’ commencing Thursday 8th October at 12.01 (BST). The competition closes Monday 12th October at 11:59 (BST). Any Visual submitted must contain only your party and all must consent to being included in the Visual and for the Visual to be submitted to this Promotion, thereby accepting the Terms and conditions of this Promotion.


5. One winner, per week will be selected from all the entries received via https://www.facebook.com/CenterParcsUK or https://twitter.com/CenterParcsUK. Guests may enter via both channels (https://www.facebook.com/CenterParcsUK or https://twitter.com/CenterParcsUK)


6. By submitting a visual to Center Parcs, the Participant agrees that it assigns to Center Parcs the copyright and all similar intellectual property rights throughout the world absolutely and to the fullest extent permitted by law and at no charge to Center Parcs. Center Parcs shall be free to use the Visual on an unrestricted basis for any purpose whatsoever. The Participant agrees that the entries are their own original work and that they own the copyright in such Visuals. The Participant further agrees to unconditionally and irrevocably waive his or her moral rights to be identified as the author of the Visual throughout the world, to the extent that such rights are capable of being waived and that Center Parcs can reproduce, modify, adapt or alter the Visuals in any way it sees fit. This waiver is made for the benefit of Center Parcs and shall extend to its licensees and successors in title to the copyright in the Visuals. The Participant agrees to execute all such documents and do all such acts and things as Center Parcs UK may reasonably require in order to assign any such rights described in this paragraph to Center Parcs.


7. By participating in this Promotion, entrants grant permission for Center Parcs to use their name and likeness for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensation (except where prohibited). Center Parcs will only use personal information Participants provide in connection with this purpose and for the purpose of administering the Promotion.


8. No purchase necessary.


9. The competition opens on Thursday 8th October 2015. The competition will close at 11.59 am (BST) on Monday 12th October 2015. In this instance, the period from Thursday 8th October to Monday 12th October 2015 inclusive, will be known as the “Promotion Period”. Any entries outside the promotion period will not be counted.


10. The winner will be selected from all participants who entered used the correct hashtag. One weekly winner will be selected from all the entries on Facebook Twitter.


11. The decision of the promoter in relation to the promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.


12. No information regarding entries or judging will be disclosed to any third party not involved in the conduct of the promotion.


13. The prize is not transferable, re-saleable or exchangeable. There is no cash alternative.


14. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the prize products subject to availability.


15. The three winners will each receive £100 cinema vouchers, £100 restaurant vouchers and a bundle of goods from Center Parcs worth £100.


16. The winner will be contacted via Twitter or Facebook by 15.00 (BST) on a Tuesday following the closure of the weekly competition 13th October 2015.


17. The winner must respond to notification of their prize before 18:00pm (BST) on a Wednesday following the announcement the day before 14th October otherwise the right to claim the prize will be lost and the Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize(s).


18. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computers will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Any entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will be rejected. Any entries containing offensive or inappropriate content will be removed.


19. By entering, participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.


20. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the promoters reserve the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.


21. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.


22. The Promoter's decision is final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion.


23. The Promoter can accept no responsibility for, and reserves the right to refuse, entries which are corrupt, incomplete or fail to arrive by the closing date.
