New Gastro-Pub opens at Sherwood Forest

Located at the Country Club, Foresters' Inn provides a relaxed alternative to traditional dining without compromising on quality. It is a spacious gastro pub that combines a contemporary style with an easy charm to ensure a great eating experience for family, friends and couples. 

Designed with variety in mind, the menu caters for all ages and tastes whatever time of day, with that distinct gastro twist. Brunch specials include the full English breakfast to the classic scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Once appetites have been worked up, go traditional with steak and ale pie or one of our many gourmet burgers. The more discerning diner may enjoy a pan-fried fillet of seabass or Goats Cheese and Tomato Tarte. And of course there are traditional Sunday roast dinners for that real home from home feeling.

For younger guests, the children's menu offers family favourites such as sausage and mash, fish and chips to penne pasta. There is even a large play area to keep occupy the young and the young at heart, while the grown ups enjoy après dinner drinks.

The harmonious tones of the creams, chocolates, woodland greens are perfectly in tune with the forest itself, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The 1122 square metre layout lends itself well to both wining and dining with a choice of conventional table and chairs and banquet booths across 229 covers.

The opening of Forresters Inn is part of a £17 million investment programme in restaurants and retail across all Center Parcs UK villages an follows the recent £60 million investment in its accommodation. A second Foresters Inn is due to open at Elveden Forest in June.
