Find out what Center Parcs
Longford Forest plans to offer
The Village Centre will house the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, indoor leisure activities and a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. With a central landscaped area and stunning views over the woodland and lake, the Village Centre will be a hub of activity. A translucent canopy will shelter guests from the elements and a richly landscaped area provides plenty of places for families to explore or simply relax and take in their surroundings. This building will also be home to our on-site supermarket, ParcMarket, and Guest Services.
Subtropical Swimming Paradise
The jewel in the crown of any Center Parcs Village, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, will be a contemporary, glass-fronted building with views over the lake. Alongside a wave pool and lazy river, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise will include a toddler and children’s play area and exclusive cabanas. The outside pool and thrilling Wild Water Rapids will twist and turn in front of the building’s dramatic façade, while water rides wind their way out of the side of the building.
Aqua Sana Spa
Our own spa, Aqua Sana, will be located in a tranquil area of woodland, overlooking its own lake with a number of peaceful and private gardens. Consisting of two main areas, the spa will offer luxurious spa experience rooms and a wide range of face and body treatments with an elegant conservatory housing the relaxation areas and restaurant.
The beach will be home to one of our most popular family restaurants, The Pancake House, which will have views across the lake, providing the perfect place for families to watch their children taking part in water activities.
The Village will have 470 Lodges, ranging from one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom single storey Lodges, to four-bedroom detached luxury Treehouses. All of our accommodation has been designed to seamlessly blend into the woodland and we will build our Lodges in ‘clusters’, meaning we will only remove small pockets of woodland for their construction, rather than removing large areas. By building in this way, we maintain the forest surroundings and create a secluded piece of woodland outside every Lodge.
The Lodges will be timber-clad with large windows to connect our guests with the woodland setting, with private patios and meandering paths through the forest. We design all of our Lodges with families in mind, creating an open-plan space which includes the kitchen, living and dining area, encouraging family togetherness whether you’re preparing dinner or relaxing with a film.
