Center Parcs Introduces Starbucks Coffee Shops

December 2007

Center Parcs have announced a licensing agreement with Starbucks Coffee Company (UK) Ltd.

Under the terms of the agreement, Center Parcs will operate 10 Starbucks coffee shops and kiosks across its four holiday villages, employing around 100 people. Each coffee shop will be staffed and operated by Center Parcs employees in accordance with Starbucks brand guidelines. Starbucks will provide products such as coffee, food and merchandise as well as training, operational and marketing support.

The new licensed stores at Center Parcs will deliver exactly the same high standards that customers have come to expect from both Starbucks and Center Parcs. The coffee shops are expected to be open by Spring 2008.

Martin Dalby, Chief Executive of Center Parcs said: "We are excited about our partnership with Starbucks, an established business whose commitment to outstanding service and customer excellence works very well within our own focus on providing only the best to our guests. We are continuing to invest across all areas of retail, food and beverage and accommodation in all four villages. The agreement with Starbucks is another step in our continuing efforts to anticipate the ever changing consumer preferences and deliver to our guests the best choice and quality of service."
