A Walk With Trees
Throughout history, the woodland landscape of England has been continually changing. As well as native trees, many varieties have been introduced from around the world. On this fascinating walk through our large woodland, Forest Rangers will teach you how to identify various trees and tell you about their history.
Abseiling
Falling to earth is such an exhilarating feeling and in this beginner's abseiling session you'll learn all the necessary rope skills to be able to climb our 13 metre tower and control your descent back down to the bottom.
Adventure Golf
Visit our own Treasure Island in the middle of the Watersports Lake. Travel back in time to a time of swashbuckling pirates and ships laden with treasure. Then, if you feel really brave why not challenge Black Beard to a round?
Adventure Playground
Our Adventure Playground is the perfect place for children to burn off excess energy.
Archery-Field
The adrenaline starts pumping as you creep through the forest, spotting and firing at targets as you go. Our field archery course combines archery skills with the thrill of the chase, so it's an exciting way to practice your techniques.
Junior Archery
Guided and encouraged by our experienced team, children can learn basic archery techniques and practice thier aim, firing at targets.
Ariel Adventure
A thrilling combination of Tree Trekking and Zip Wire for the serious adrenaline junkie. Once you've conquered our Challenge Course and successfully negotiated the Postman's Walk, Giant Spider's Web and Indiana Bridge, the 25 metre Burma Bridge leads you 12 metres up into the tree canopy to our Zip Wire finale. Once attached, you'll fly 80 metres through the trees, rushing over water below, then abseil to the ground. It's an amazing experience you won't forget in a hurry.
Beginner Pony Trek
A gentle walk along woodland paths is a wonderful introduction to the exhilarating sport of horse riding. Accompanied by experienced, qualified instructors offering tips and advice, you can enjoy the feeling of being in control of a powerful animal as you take in the stunning views.
Birds of Prey Experience
In this exciting introduction to the medieval art of falconry, our expert handlers will present our magnificent birds, including species such as owls, falcons and hawks. You'll then have the chance to fly one of these impressive predators from your gloved fist.
Canoe Tuition
In our stable, open canoe, you'll learn to manoeuvre, paddle and capsize to build your skills and confidence.
Carriage Rides
Enjoy a relaxing tour around the village in a traditional horse and carriage. Unwind and take in the sights at your leisure.
Challenge Course
Your team will rely on each other to achieve the challenges set by this demanding low ropes course, which include the Spider's Web, Chasm Crossing, Balance Beam and aptly named Heebie Jeebie, and you're sure to have a laugh together along the way. It may take place closer to the ground, but it's still not for the faint hearted!
Climbing
Our 9 metre climbing wall has been cleverly designed with routes for beginners that will familiarise them with climbing techniques and skills, and more demanding options to challenge experienced climbers. The session starts with tuition and a safety briefing from an experienced instructor, then it's time to head skywards.
Cross Country Hack - Advanced
Being in control of a majestic, powerful horse is a real thrill, especially when you can ride out through beautiful woodland. Riders will need to be experienced in all aspects of horsemanship to tackle this thrilling and fast-paced cross country hack.
Family Bird Watching Walk
Learn how to identify many of our feathered friends by sound as well as by sight as you take a bird's eye view of the forest with one of our Conservation Rangers.
High Ropes
A cunning collection of poles, ropes and beams form a daring course of action, set out to include the 'Multi Vine', 'Balancing Beams', the 'Inclined Log', Leap of Faith and 'High All Abroad'.
Horse & Carridge Ride
To ride in the back of a horse-drawn carriage is a truly special experience - and it becomes even more memorable when you're travelling along the peaceful and leafy avenues of Center Parcs.
Intermediate Pony Trek
Taking you through a tranquil and picturesque forest landscape, this trek is suitable for riders of all levels. On a leisurely walk, experienced staff provide instruction for beginners. Then, while our beginners stay at walk to practise their technique, intermediate riders return to the stables at an invigorating trot.
Junior Quad Experience
Once they have been taken through the safety tips, instructions and techniques by our team, each child goes on a fully supervised practise lap. Then when they are confident, they'll zip round the off raod track.
Kayak Tuition
This course offers basic instruction in kayaking skills.
Laser Clay Shoot Out
Take aim with our state-of-the-art, laser-adapted rifle and see how many clays you can hit as they speed through the air, traveklling at up to 65mph. We'll keep score electronically to add a competitive edge to this thrilling shoot out.
Mini Crossbows
Learn to use a mini version of a crossbow, one of the most ancient shooting weapons in this fun based enviroment.
Mini Soccer Academy
An introductory fun soccer session designed to develop soccer skills, 2 or 3 day course.
Quad Bike Safari
This exciting trek starts from the Outdoor Activity Centre and continues across the adjacent area through open land, over and around the undulating terrain.
Paintballing
Based in a purpose-built arena, dodge enemy fire and achieve your goal. A variety of team games will be played during the session with up to 24 players at any time.
Power Fan
Experience the thrill of parachuting as you step off the 13-metre platform and make a quick, controlled descent to the ground.
Raft Building
For this adventurous challenge, your team will receive a plan and materials, then the clock starts ticking. You'll have to build your raft in the time allowed. Then comes the ultimate test; will your raft float or will it sink?!
Rangers Ramble
An easy stroll around the village nature trails in the company of a Conservation ranger, who'll point out the forest's many secrets, from rare plants to what our squirrels eat for lunch.
Sailing Tuition
The sport of sailing is popular with the whole family. This course offers basic tuition in sailing skills.
Soccer Academy
A vigorous, professional coaching course to improve ball skills and team play. Prizes for best player, most improved player, penalty competition winner. Certificates awarded at end of course.
Teddy Bears' Picnic
Bring along your favourite Teddy Bear and join us for a short walk, picnic, songs, games and a story.
Treasure Trail
Fancy having a go on our Treasure Hunt? Come along to the Rangers' Lodge and get the first clue to lead you on a tour of the forest.
Tree Trekking
You are connected into the Expo Glider safety harness system whilst you tackle our Aerial Adventure course, experiencing the many individual challenges from the Postman's Walk, Burma Bridge, Hanging Platforms and Indiana Bridge to make the exhilarating 13 metres Power Fan finale where you will make a quick and controlled descent to the ground.
Windsurfing Tuition
The sport of Windsurfing is the highlight of the extreme games category. Come and learn the basic skills. Arrangements may be made for intermediate lessons.
Woodland Awakening
Work up an appetite by exploring the forest in the morning. One things for sure - you're bound to to enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
Zip Wire
This is the ultimate rush! Climb to the top of our 13-metre tower (via ladders) where you will be attached to the wire. Then fly through the trees and abseil to the ground.
