Focus on Nature Activities

A Walk with Trees

As well as native trees, many varieties have been introduced to our forest landscape from around the world. On this fascinating walk through our extensive woodland, Forest Rangers will teach you how to identify various trees and tell you about their history.

Birds of Prey Demonstration

An introduction to the ancient art of falconry. Experience the thrill of having a bird of prey flying to your glove and learn how to tie the falconer's knot.

Bush Craft

Living in a beautiful forest is hardly an everyday occurrence for most people. So why not make the most of Center Parcs’ idyllic setting by joining our Bush Craft session? One of our Rangers will show you a few of the survival and tracking techniques essential for wilderness living. The perfect way to spend a couple of hours before retiring to your cosy accommodation for a nice cup of tea!

Family Bird Watching Walk

Learn how to identify many of our local feathered friends by sound as well as by sight as you take a bird’s eye view of the forest with one of our Conservation Rangers.

Ranger’s Ramble

An easy stroll around the village nature trails in the company of a Conservation Ranger, who’ll point out the forest’s many hidden secrets, from rare plants to what our squirrels eat for lunch.

Woodland Awakening

As the forest awakens in the early morning, our Conservation Rangers will take you on a tour round different habitats and give you an insight into the plants, birds and animals that live there. Then it’s off to Sports Café for a coffee and Danish pastry.
