Horse & Carriage Ride

See Longleat as medieval nobility would have. This exhilarating carriage ride, led by a team of professional drivers and magnificent horses, whisks you off on a tour of the surrounding woodland.

King's Chase Horse Ride

Come for a ride through the beautiful woods of Longleat on the Kings Chase advanced ride. Riders need to be 12 and over, be riding regularly and be able to control a horse in open country at walk, trot and canter

The City Slicker

We saddle up with western style tack on this beginner's walk, using a larger, deeper saddle, longer stirrups and longer reins for a more laidback experience.

Minimum age 6 yrs.

The Trail Ride

Being in control of a majestic, powerful horse is a real thrill, especially when you can ride it through beautiful woodland. Guests must be experienced in rising trot - this is not for beginners.

White Horse Lesson

With attention from a qualified instructor, you can practice your horsemanship and learn new skills. We can accommodate riders of all levels and the lesson will take place in an outdoor teaching facility. Please note: this is a group lesson, not a one-to-one lesson.
