An Outing with Owls

Up close, owls are even more beautiful; at this magical session for both adults and children you will meet, stroke and handle some of the world’s most fascinating and beautiful owls. Be amazed at the grace and beauty of an owl as it flies silently to your gloved fist, in the care of our professional falconers.

Animal Allsorts

From the farmyard to the safari, we look at all kinds of animals in this craft-based session, which includes activities such as making animal masks, puppets and pictures.

Baby Dolphins

You'll have the pool to yourselves in this fun sesssion. As well as playing with inflatables, you can familiarise your baby dolphins with the water to build their (and your) confidence. There'll be no-one else in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise for this session but the under 3's and their parents for this fun, free activity.

Brazilian Football

It's fast, it’s fun, it's football like you’ve never experienced. ‘Futebol de Salão’ originates from the neighbourhoods of Brazil – and it's how the likes of Pele, Zico and Ronaldinho learned their craft. Played with smaller teams and a miniball that hardly bounces, the game's all about deft footwork and quick thinking. Have you got what it takes for football, Brazilian style?

Body Art

Having a favourite animal, symbol or image painted on to their skin never fails to fascinate youngsters. Body Art gives them the chance of exactly that – and even lets them choose which colours are used. The air brushing process takes about 15 minutes and all pictures last around 2-5 days.

Canopy Capers

Using a parachute canopy, bean bags and hoops, we play lots of entertaining games, in between learning new songs. 

Decorative Stationery

Children never want to go home after an amazing trip to Center Parcs – but at least you can make going back to school after their break a little easier with this fun workshop. They’ll love getting creative, as they decorate everything from pencil cases and notepads to pencil sharpeners and bookmarks.

Evening Social

Fancy an evening out without your parents cramping your style? Then come along to our Evening Social. There'll be loads of tasty food and drinks and with two hours away from the oldies there'll be plenty of time to make new friends.

Face Painting

Become a beautiful butterfly or a ferocious tiger! Using washable face paints, we'll capture active imaginations and transform little ones into colourful characters for the day.

Foil Fencing

In this lively introduction to the ancient and dramatic sport of fencing, our instructors will give you background information and take you through the basic moves, such as the 'on guard' position, the lunge and the parry. Then, equipped with a helmet and foil, a traditional duelling sword, you can practice with a partner. Touché! 

Froglets

This frog-themed session is loads of fun for little ones – and their parents too. You’ll both love these play and learn sessions, teaching your child, early swimming skills and helping to build confidence in the pool - with the help of our fully qualified instructors. All little Froglets then receive a souvenir frog toy and certificate when they’re done.

Go Ballistic

Exciting fun and games session for children in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. Includes team games using floats, balls, inflatables and toys as part of the aquatic experience.

Hair Braiding

Girls love to co-ordinate accessories and little trendsetters can have a super cool hair braid decorated with their choice of pretty coloured beads to match their favourite outfit.

Jewellery Making

Using beautiful beads in different colours, shapes and sizes, our jewellery designers create either a necklace or bracelet and a matching pair of pierced earrings to keep (and no doubt impress their friends when they get home!).

Junior Champions league

Football fans won't want to miss this exciting event, run in true Champions League style. Players represent the biggest clubs in European football and compete in group stages, before moving on to the knock-out stage. Will you make it through to the grand final and win the league?

Let the swashbuckling begin! Aspiring D’Artagnans can try their hand at fencing using foam swords, safely protected by plastic masks.

Time to roll up the sleeves and create some mini masterpieces using different painting techniques, including marble, sponge and finger painting.  

Little Chefs

They'll be the cutest cooks in the kitchen when they've been to this fun workshop. Aspiring chefs will get to design and decorate their own apron, mug and much more – creating memories and souvenirs that stay with them long after your trip ends.

Madness and Mayhem

Get ready for action-packed session that starts with designing your own t-shirt. You can then wear your creation as you take part in all sorts of games and quizzes with new friends. As this is a long session, we'll make sure you have drinks and snacks too.

Magical Makeovers

For all children with a yearning to be a fairytale character or superhero, we'll make their dream come true. They can choose from a fantastic array of wonderful costumes then, with clever make-up and brilliant painted backdrops, their transformation is complete and recorded for all time on a photo to take home.

Make a Memory

As your children grow, you soon forget how little and cute their fingers and toes were. So, we've combined a special childhood memento for you with an exciting activity for them. We make a print of your child's hands or feet as well as a clay cast and a personalised poem, presented in a box which they decorate.

Messy Play

Squidge, stick, splash and splodge. Children love getting messy so we'll give them plenty of opportunities, playing with water, sand, play dough, spaghetti and cornflour as well as making finger, sponge and sticky pictures. 

Mini Crossbows

Learn to use a mini version of a crossbow, one of the most ancient shooting weapons in this fun based environment. Purchase a mini crossbow at a reduced rate when you book this session.

Mini Olympics

This event is a great way for youngsters to get some exercise in a fun setting. Inspired by school sports days, events range from the egg and spoon race to fun to fun relay races.

Mini Tennis Academy

Every champion has to start somewhere and mini tennis, played with short racquets and larger, soft balls, is a superb way of introducing children to the skills and techniques of tennis. Led by our Center Parcs coaching team, a 30 minute practice session is followed by 15 minutes of games.

Painting Pottery

Young and old alike go potty for our pottery painting studio! Choose a piece of pottery from a huge selection, paint it with your own design then we'll professionally glaze it and fire it for you to take home.

Rookie Lifeguard

If you want to find a real-life hero, look no further than those people who patrol our beaches and swimming pools. And now at Center Parcs, you can learn the basics of lifeguarding over a special two-hour course. Although being safe in the water is a serious subject, the course is all about having fun.

Scuba Diving

Exploring hidden, underwater depths amongst colourful fish and reefs is an amazing experience and this introductory lesson gives you a taste of how thrilling location diving would be. Led by a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) qualified instructor, you learn the basics in a safe, controlled environment, using state of the art Scuba equipment.

Snorkelling

We can't provide the reef fish, but our experienced tutors can teach you all the techniques you need to explore sea life on your next trip abroad. Please arrive 20 minutes before the session and bring your completed medical form (issued on arrival at the village).

Soccer Circus

Are you ready to take on the challenge? Soccer circus is a fantastic, fun, family activity developed by former England player and manager Kevin Keegan. It's guaranteed to be loved by all ages and abilities, ensure you bring along mum too! This exciting attraction will test your skills by dribbling, passing, shooting and throwing your way to the best score. You require no experience just the ability to have lots of fun.

Swimming Academy

Being able to swim competently opens up a whole world of fun and adventure. Our qualified instructors will help swimmers of all levels build their confidence in the pool, learning basic techniques and different swimming strokes. When you're happy that they're safe in the water, you can let them loose on the exciting children's flumes, pools and attraction in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

Tadpoles

It's never too early to teach your children to swim. That's why our friendly instructors are here to make the experience both fun and safe. You'll be given helpful advice on early water skills as your little ones get to splash about and play with specially designed water toys and flotation aids. After the session, each tiny tadpole will receive a souvenir toy and certificate.

Teddy Bear Making

A child's teddy is even more precious to them when they've made it themselves. In this wonderful craft session, everyone creates their own bear or animal then chooses an outfit for their new friend before taking them home.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Every bear that ever there was is gathering here! Bring your teddy and join in with songs and games then follow the Teddy Trail to our Teddy Bear's Picnic.

Tinies Sports day

If you have a 3 to 5 year old with energy to spare, this is the perfect event. Our Tiny's Sports Day includes a fun introduction to favourite sports such as tennis, cricket, fencing and tri-golf.

Tot's Fun Zone

If laughter's the name of the game, let your children loose in the Tot’s Fun Zone. There are ball pools to dive into, tunnels to clamber through and soft objects to jump on. Aside from simply rushing around, they can also have a go at tots golf, football and tennis.

Tot's Musical Moves

The Lion King, Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid: Disney's unforgettable songs have been captivating children for generations. In this delightful session, we use songs from some of the studio's classic films to introduce your little one to some easy-to-learn dance sequences. And though they may not realise the routines are improving their fitness and co-ordination too, Mum and Dad might if they’re tempted to join in!

Tot’s Sports Activity

Taking place within the safe, enclosed Soccer Circus Arena, this fun session is a great way to get your little ones racing around while enjoying a whole range of activities. From jogging on the dots to tots football, points are scored by hitting the lights on the special panels positioned around the playing area.

Tots' Tennis

Even weeny ones can pick up the basics of mini tennis. The shorter racquets and soft balls used are ideal for introducing children to the game and inspiring a life long passion for playing.

Trigolf

Young golf enthusiasts learn how to hold a golf club and hit a ball through obstacles. It's a great way to familiarise youngsters with clubs and improve their hand-eye co-ordination.

Woodland Detectives

Center Parcs is set in a beautiful forest that teems with wildlife. But recently a few of our woodland neighbours seem to have gone missing. Join Detective Do Little as he investigates what's going on. Find the clues that will unearth their whereabouts. A great way to learn about some of the animals that share our surroundings.
