Abseiling
Falling to earth is such an exhilarating feeling and in this beginner's abseiling session you'll learn all the necessary rope skills to be able to climb our 13 metre tower and control your descent back down to the bottom.
Adventure Golf
Travel back in time when you embark on a special golf adventure into Roman Britain. Then if you feel really brave why not peer over 'Hadrian's Wall' and putt your way through Ancient Britain.
An Outing With Owls
Up close, owls are even more beautiful and impressive. During this magical encounter, much loved by adults and children alike, you'll meet some of the world's most spectacular breeds then watch in awe as they fly gracefully and silently to the gloved fist of our professional handler.
Archery - Target
At our purpose built Archery Centre, you stand in covered bays and fire at our targets, trying to hit the red centre. You score points depending on where you hit the target, which we'll move further back as you progress so you can refine your aim.
Beginner/Intermediate Pony Trek
Taking you through a tranquil and picturesque forest landscape, this trek is suitable for riders of all levels. On a leisurely walk, experienced staff provide instruction for beginners. Then, while our beginners stay at walk to practise their technique, intermediate riders return to the stables at an invigorating trot.
Beginner minimum age: 11 years
Intermediate minimum age: 9 years
Birds of Prey Experience
In this exciting introduction to the medieval art of falconry, our expert handlers will present our magnificent birds, including species such as owls, falcons and hawks. You'll then have the chance to fly one of these impressive predators from your gloved fist.
Bobby Charlton Soccer School
Top coaches from the Bobby Charlton Soccer School (BCSS) provide high quality football tuition. BCSS provide the very latest training equipment and methods for all players, utilising the original Soccer Theme Park coaching equipment, a concept which has been developed since 1966. It is well documented that David Beckham won the BCSS skills compettiion as a 12 year old, so join one of our sessions and follow in the footsteps of our current England Captain.

Carriage Rides
Enjoy a relaxing tour around the village in a traditional horse and carriage. Unwind and take in the sights at your leisure.
Climbing
Our 9 metre climbing wall has been cleverly designed with routes for beginners that will familiarise them with climbing techniques and skills, and more demanding options to challenge experienced climbers. The session starts with tuition and a safety briefing from an experienced instructor, then it's time to head skywards.
Creepy Crawlies
Hidden away under logs and bark live all kinds of facinating mini beasts. On a mini safari led by a Conservation Ranger, we take a look through magnifying glasses and microscopes to find out more about this minature world.
Cross Country Hack - Advanced
Being in control of a majestic, powerful horse is a real thrill, especially when you can ride out through beautiful woodland. Riders will need to be experienced in all aspects of horsemanship to tackle this thrilling and fast-paced cross country hack.
Doctor Do-A-Lot
Walk, talk and squawk with the animals in this fascinating, fun-packed family adventure. Watch Dude the Bearded Dragon perform, play games in the Outback, discover the magic of ultra violet light, learn parsel tongue with Kellog the corn snake and tiptoe with the tribes to visit our African animals. You'll also meet Tommy the tortoise and Jane the jungle nymph. We think you'll agree; there's definately a lot to do!
Family Bird Watching Walk
Learn how to identify many of our feathered friends by sound as well as by sight as you take a bird's eye view of the forest with one of our Conservation Rangers.
Fan Descender
For a serious adrenaline surge! Experience the thrill of a simulated parachute jump as you step off the 13 metre platform and descend quickly and controlled to the ground.
Hawk Walk
The Hawk Walk gives you the opportunity to learn about birds of prey. Join our falconer on a gentle stroll in the forest and enjoy having a hawk feed from your hand!
High Ropes
A cunning collection of poles, ropes and beams form a daring course of action, set out to include the 'Multi Vine', 'Balancing Beams', the 'Inclined Log', Leap of Faith and 'High All Abroad'.
Kayak Tuition
This course offers basic instruction in kayaking skills.
Mammal Magic
A hands-on experience animal lovers will adore. We meet Tiggiwinkle the hedgehog, along with some of the rarest, cutest and more unusual mammals in the world. As well as learning fascinating facts about the animals, young David Attenboroughs will get chance to handle and stroke them.
Paintballing
Based in a purpose-built arena, dodge enemy fire and achieve your goal. A variety of team games will be played during the session with up to 24 players at any time.
Quad Bike Safari
This exciting trek starts from the Outdoor Activity Centre and continues across the adjacent area through open land, over and around the undulating terrain.
Quad Track Challenge
All the thrill and excitement of quad biking on a purpose built track. Riders have full instruction as they learn all the skills they need to handle and control our 50cc quad bikes.
Rangers Ramble
An easy stroll around the village nature trails in the company of a Conservation ranger, who'll point out the forest's many secrets, from rare plants to what our squirrels eat for lunch.
Robin Hoods & Little John's Archery
This parent and child activity will give you quality time together learning the art of target archery.
Sailing Tuition
The sport of sailing is popular with the whole family. This course offers basic tuition in sailing skills.
Squirrel Session
Join the ranger on a short walk and join in games and activities designed to teach you more about red squirrels.
Soccer Coaching Programme
Dribbling, kicking, passing, marking, tackling, heading and, hopefully, scoring! All the many techniques of the beautiful game are taught by our BCSSA coaches using their unique soccer theme park equipment, such as dribbling mannequins and free kick walls. each session combines intensive training with short matches so every player can put their new skills into practice.
Soccer Mites
Its never to early to start learning foorball skills. Our coach introduces your little ones to the basics to help develop their movement and balance.
Teddy Bears' Picnic
Bring along your favourite Teddy Bear and join us for a short walk, picnic, songs, games and a story.
Treasure Trail
Fancy having a go on our Treasure Hunt? Come along to the Rangers' Lodge and get the first clue to lead you on a tour of the forest.
Tree Trekking
You are connected into the Expo Glider safety harness system whilst you tackle our Aerial Adventure course, experiencing the many individual challenges from the Postman's Walk, Burma Bridge, Hanging Platforms and Indiana Bridge to make the exhilarating 13 metres Power Fan finale where you will make a quick and controlled descent to the ground.
Tri Golf
For those young golf enthusiasts, learn how to hold a golf club and hit a ball through obstacles with your blow-up club.
Willow Weaving
Try your hand at this old woodland craft and join the rangers in making willow woven objects/structures.
Windsurfing Tuition
The sport of Windsurfing is the highlight of the extreme games category. Come and learn the basic skills. Arrangements may be made for intermediate lessons.
Woodland Awakening
Work up an appetite by exploring the forest in the morning. One things for sure - you're bound to to enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
Woodland Carriage Ride
An exciting and exhilarating carriage ride, led by a team of professional drivers and magnificent horses whisks you off on a tour of the surrounding woodland.
Zip Wire
This is the ultimate rush! Climb to the top of our 13-metre tower (via ladders) where you will be attached to the wire. Then fly through the trees and abseil to the ground.
