An Outing With Owls

Up close, owls are even more beautiful, at this magical session for both adults and children you will meet, stroke and handle some of the world's most fascinating and beautiful owls. Be amazed at the grace and beauty of an owl as it flies silently to your gloved fist, in the care of our professional falconers. Suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Bush Craft

Living in a beautiful forest is hardly an everyday occurrence for most people. So why not make the most of Center Parc's idyllic setting by joining our bush craft session? One of our Rangers will show you a few of the survival and tracking techniques essential for wilderness living. The perfect way to spend a couple of hours before retiring to your cosy accommodation for a nice cup of tea!

Canopy Capers

Using a parachute canopy, bean bags and hoops, we play lots of entertaining games, in between learning new songs. 

Doctor Do-A-Lot

Walk, talk and squawk with the animals in this fascinating, fun-packed family adventure. Watch Dude the Bearded Dragon perform, play games in the Outback, discover the magic of ultra violet light, learn parsel tongue with Kellog the corn snake and tiptoe with the tribes to visit our African animals. You'll also meet Tommy the tortoise and Jane the jungle nymph. We think you'll agree; there's definately a lot to do!

Face Painting

Become a beautiful butterfly or a ferocious tiger! Using washable face paints, we'll capture active imaginations and transform little ones into colourful characters for the day.

Family Pony Trekking

The whole family can enjoy a gentle forest walk, perfect for introducing the absolute beginner to the joys of horse riding. Children 4 years and under must be held and supported on the horse by a walking adult. Lead reins are available for adults and older children, please enquire at the time of booking .

Feed the Birds

Join us at the Rangers Lodge to find out exactly what type of food keeps these beautiful little creatures warm and gives them the energy they need to take to the skies. You can then become 'little chefs' and mix all the ingredients together to make a tasty morsel that will tempt the woodland birds when they are feeling peckish. Everything you need will be provided, so just bring yourself along (with an adult if you are under 12 years old) and enjoy the fun. Please note that ingredients will include peanuts.

Hawk Walk

The hawk is an impressive bird of prey and this opportunity to learn more about its relationship with nature and with man is not to be missed. You'll also have the chance to fly a hawk and watch it feed from your gloved fist.

Hair Braiding

Girls love to co-ordinate accessories and little trendsetters can have a super cool hair braid decorated with their choice of pretty coloured beads to match their favourite outfit.

Junior Fencing

Let the swashbuckling begin! Aspiring D'Artagnan's can try their hand at fencing using foam swords, safely protected by plastic masks.

Let's Paint

Time to roll up the sleeves and create some mini masterpieces using different painting techniques, including marble, sponge and finger painting.  

Magical Makeovers

For all children with a yearning to be a fairytale character or superhero, we'll make their dream come true. They can choose from a fantastic array of wonderful costumes then, with clever make-up and brilliant painted backdrops, their transformation is complete and recorded for all time on a photo to take home.

Mammal Magic

A hands-on experience animal lovers will adore. We meet Tiggiwinkle the hedgehog, along with some of the rarest, cutest and more unusual mammals in the world. As well as learning fascinating facts about the animals, young David Attenboroughs will get chance to handle and stroke them.

Pony Pals

To a pony-mad youngster, learning how to pamper one is exciting as riding one. On this fun and rewarding session, experienced instructors share their knowledge with the children – from teaching them the basics of grooming, to glittering hooves and plaiting manes. A tranquil forest ride follows.

Soccer Mites

It's never too early to start learning football skills. Our coach introduces your little ones to the basics to help develop their movement and balance. The session includes 30 minutes of developmental activities followed by a 15 minute match and we award each player a certificate of achievement.

Sport 14 Sailing Tuition

A Sport 14 is a double or single sailed dinghy that carries up to 4 people. Three of you can climb aboard for basic tuition and a thrilling demonstration from your instructor.

Swimming Academy

Being able to swim competently opens up a whole world of fun and adventure. Our qualified instructors will help swimmers of all levels build their confidence in the pool, learning basic techniques and different swimming strokes. When you're happy that they're safe in the water, you can let them loose on the exciting children's flumes, pools and attraction in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

Tri Golf

For those young golf enthusiasts, learn how to hold a golf club and hit a ball through obstacles with your blow-up club.

Tot's Sports Activity

Taking place within the safe, enclosed Soccer Circus arena, this fun session is a great way to get your little ones racing around while enjoying a whole range of activities. From jogging on the dots to tots football, points are scored by hitting the lights on the special panels positioned around the playing area.

Tinies Sports Day

If you have three to five year olds with energy to spare, this is the perfect event. Our Tiny's sports day includes a fun introduction to favourite sports such as tennis, cricket, fencing and tri golf.

Mini Olympics

This event is a great way for five to seven year olds to get some exercise in a fun setting. Inspired by school sports days, events range from the eggm and spoon race to fun to fun relay races.

Woodland Detectives

Center Parcs is set in beautiful forest that teems with wildlife. But recently a few of our woodland neighbours seem to have gone missing. Join Detective Do Little as he investigates what's going on. Find the clues that will unearth their whereabouts.

A great way to learn about some of the animlas that share our surroundings.

Tot's Tennis

Even weeny ones can pick up the basics of mini tennis. The shorter rackets and soft balls used are ideal for introducing children to the game and inspiring a life long passion for playing.

Multi Sports Challenge

Want to show off your sporting skills? Then takethe Multi Sport Challenge – an action packed hour of fun! Held at the Soccer Circus, you'll play everything from basketball to hockey, scoring points by hitting the lights on the special panels. Will your team be going for gold? Junior teams are for 8 to 14 years olds; Minis are for 5 to 7
year olds.

5 to 7 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

Soccer Circus

Are you ready to take on the challenge? Soccer circus is a fantastic, fun, family activity developed by former England player and manager Kevin Keegan. It's guaranteed to be loved by all ages and abilities, ensure you bring along Mum too! This exciting attraction will test your skills by dribbling, passing, shooting and throwing your way
to the best score. You require no experience just the ability to have lots of fun.

Under 4s are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Every bear that ever there was is gathering here! Bring your teddy and join in with songs and games then follow the Teddy Trail to our Teddy Bear's Picnic and meet everyon's favourite bear, Rupert Bear.

Teddy Bear Making

A child's teddy is even more precious to them when they've made it themselves. In this wonderful craft session, everyone creates their own bear or animal then chooses an outfit for their new friend before taking them home.

Little Chefs

They'll be the cutest cooks in the kitchen when they've been to this fun workshop. Aspiring chefs will get to design and decorate their own apron, mug and much more – creating memories and souvenirs that stay with them long after your trip ends.

Soccer Shoot Out

Can you make the shot when you're under pressure? You're up against our Sports Plaza goalie in this exciting penalty shoot out.

Painting Pottery

Young and old alike go potty for our pottery painting studio! Choose a piece of pottery from a huge selection, paint it with your own design we'll professionally glaze and fire it for you to take home.

Tot's Fun Zone

If laughter's the name of the game, let your children loose in the Tots Fun Zone. There are ball pools to dive into, tunnels to clamber through and soft objects to jump on. Aside from simply rushing around, they can also have a go at tots golf, football and tennis.

Body Art

Having a favourite animal, symbol or image painted on to their skin never fails to fascinate youngsters. Body Art gives them the chance of exactly that – and even lets them choose which colours are used. The air brushing process takes about 15 minutes and all pictures last around 2-5 days.

Build a Habitat box

It's never too early to get your child interested in protecting our beautiful wildlife. Join the rangers on this hands-on workshop, and make either a bird box, butterfly house, insect house ladybird house or bird feeder. Whatever you choose to make, take it home and give it pride of place in your garden.

Talking Toadstools

The forest floor is home to an incredible collection of fungi, but you have to know where to look. On this mushroom and toadstool hunt, we visit different woodland habitats in the village and learning how to identify them. Please note: This activity is only available during the Autumn Season.

Woodland Awakening

As the forest awakens in the early morning, our Conservation Rangers will take you on a tour round different habitats and give you an insight into the plants, birds and animals that live there, finishing off with a light breakfast at the Sports Cafe.

Woodland Carriage Ride

This exhilarating carriage ride, led by a team of professional drivers and magnificent horses whisks you off on a tour of the surrounding woodland.

Family Bird Watch

Is it a tweet, a cheep or a chirp? Learn how to identify many of our local feathered friends by sound as well as by sight as you take a bird's eye view of the forest with one of our Conservation Rangers.

A Walk With Trees

As well as native trees, many varieties have been introduced to our forest landscape from around the world. On this fascinating walk through our extensive woodland, Forest Rangers will teach you how to identify various trees and tell you about their history.

Squirrel Session

Join the ranger on a short walk and join in games and activities designed to teach you more about red squirrels.

Rangers Ramble

An easy stroll around the village nature trails in the company of a Conservation ranger, who'll point out the forest's many secrets, from rare plants to what our squirrels eat for lunch.
