The subtropical environment is maintained at a blissful 29.5°C, it's summer all year round.
Step out of one world and into another. It's an experience that never ceases to amaze. In the blink of an eye, you find yourself in a subtropical paradise. An environment where something new beckons round every corner – like warm whirlpool baths and a steamy pool where you can swim warm beneath the stars. It's pure magic.
You can find little havens of tranquillity here amongst the jungle palms, the hibiscus and the banana trees. Spaces just perfect for sipping a long, cool drink, or watching the world go by. There are so many ways to relax, like simmering in the whirlpools or stroking lazily across the water.
At the exhilarating end of the spectrum, you can tackle the Canyon Ride, the largest outdoor falling rapid ride in the UK, ride the flumes and crest the waves – even take a scuba diving session.
The Lagoon Pool is the setting for a range of activities such as 1:1 children's swimming lessons, aquafit and lane swimming.

Our specially developed water-aerobic programmes are an excellent way of toning up those muscles, you don't even have to be a swimmer.
Baby Dolphins
There'll be no-one else in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise but under 3s and their parents for this fun, free session. The perfect opportunity for parents to introduce their under 3s to basic water confidence. Our fully trained staff will be on hand to provide advice, whilst inflatables and fun water-based play can help you prevent your child developing a fear of water.
Children's Group Swimming Lessons
Lessons are held every day and are available for beginners and intermediates.
Froglets
This frog-themed session is loads of fun for little ones – and their parents too. You'll both love these play and learn sessions, teaching your child, early swimming skills and helping to build confidence in the pool - with the help of our fully qualified instructors. All little Froglets then receive a souvenir frog toy and certificate when they're done.
Go Ballistic
Exciting fun and games session for children. Includes team games using floats, balls, inflatables and toys as part of the aquatic experience.
Lane Swimming in the Lagoon Pool
Time to stretch out and tone up with some distance swimming.
Rookie Lifeguard
If you want to find a real-life hero, look no further than those people who patrol our beaches and swimming pools. And now at Center Parcs, you can learn the basics of lifeguarding over a special two-hour course. Although being safe in the water is a serious subject, the course is all about having fun.
Scuba Diving
Learning to scuba dive can open up a new and exciting world of underwater adventure, exploring hidden underwater depths amongst colourful fish and reefs is an amazing experience. Center Parcs offers you the chance to learn all the skills in a safe, monitored environment, through our 2 part introductory course. Led by a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) qualified instructor, you learn the basics in a safe, controlled environment, using state of the art Scuba equipment.
Please arrive 20 minutes in advance to complete a safety briefing. A completed medical questionnaire will need to be completed before your session. (issued on arrival at the pool or available at www.padi.com). Please bring a t-shirt to the Session.
Snorkelling
Learn to explore the depths with our experienced tutors. This fun introduction to snorkelling is an ideal starting point for all those trips abroad exploring underwater sea life.
Tadpoles
It's never too early to teach your children to swim. That's why our friendly instructors are here to make the experience both fun and safe. You'll be given helpful advice on early water skills as your little ones get to splash about and play with specially designed water toys and flotation aids. After the session, each tiny tadpole will receive a souvenir toy and certificate.
