Our people are our most important asset and critical to our success. They directly interact with our guests and make sure they enjoy their stay with us and come back again. We employ around 7,500 individuals and, naturally, understand the importance of delivering initiatives that support, develop and reward all of our employees, whatever their position within the company.
Center Parcs is recognised by Investors in People and we encourage our employees to develop their skills and reward them when they are successful. Our training and development programme offers our employees the opportunity to develop their technical and professional skills as well as their leadership potential, from entry level through to managers.
We are proud of our employees and, each year, our Star Performers programme rewards the top contributors to the business from each village and Head Office.
We believe that all employees should be treated equally and offer the same benefits to all, including: a profit sharing scheme; a pension, into which we contribute up to 9%; discounted short breaks; use of our facilities and a Christmas hamper.
Our dedication to our people has resulted in a committed workforce. 48% of our employees have been with us for three years or more and our diversity levels reflect the local populations. We reward employees for their commitment and loyalty with enhanced benefits packages after two, five and 10 years service.
