A helping hand with your bPay wristband

bPay by Barclaycard is a pre-paid account that allows you to make contactless payments with your bPay wristband.

It is the key to your accommodation and is water resistant, works with any Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card, registered to a UK address and can be used in any shop or restaurant at Center Parcs where you see the contactless symbol.

You can load and spend up to £200 in a single card payment, not exceeding a total load of £400 per day if using two load cards. To activate your wristband, download the free bPay app.

The bPay account is subject to application & acceptance of the T&Cs. Anyone 13 years old or over can apply for a bPay account.

The wristband is for use at Center Parcs Woburn Forest for the duration of your break. At the end of your stay return the band to the collection bins before you leave. Don’t forget to check the balance of your bPay wallet, and remove any remaining funds after the end of your break.

To enable you to make payments once you receive your bPay wristband, you will need to activate your bPay account using the bPay app. Once your bPay account is set up you can use the bPay wristband for contactless payments. There are a few reasons you might see the error code BP019 in the bPay app. For example:

  1. Some of your details may have already been registered in the bPay app or you may already have an online account on the bPay website. This can also happen if you previously lost internet connection when registering on the bPay app. To continue with your registration, you can select already a bPay customer on the bPay app home screen. We'll ask you to setup a 5-digit passcode, take some details about your previous registration and then get you back up and running.
  2. If you’ve already registered for a bPay online account and you’re trying to setup the bPay mobile app, please check that the details are the same as previously used when registering your bPay account.
  3. Your account may be locked following too many failed login attempts. You can unlock your account by visiting the login page on the bPay website and selecting forgotten your password?; this will reset your account. You can now register your bPay app by selecting already a bPay customer on the bPay app home screen. We'll ask you to setup a 5-digit passcode, take some details about your previous registration and then get you back up and running.

You’ll have to wait two hours to request a new verification code. After this time, you can request a new code from the verify your details screen.

Yes. To make sure you always have funds to spend using your bPay wristband you can set an auto top-up. This means that when your balance falls below a certain level it automatically tops it up to an amount agreed by you. You’ll get a text or email to confirm this and the auto top-up amount can be changed whenever you like. Just select edit auto top up in your bPay account. Don’t forget, the maximum balance on any individual wallet is £200. If you try to exceed this your top up will be declined.

Every time you make a successful transaction we’ll check your balance. If your balance has fallen below your chosen amount, we’ll top up by the amount you selected and never any more. If this leaves your balance below your minimum amount, we’ll trigger a further top up the next time you use bPay to make a purchase. This will continue until your balance, after a successful transaction, is above your set amount.

There are a number of reasons why this may have happened. You'll need to make sure the funds are available on the load card you are using and that the load card details are the same as your billing details with that bank.

You must report a bPay device lost or stolen as soon as possible. We’ll block the device so it can no longer be used. In your bPay account go to Devices in the main menu. Then select Report lost or stolen and follow the on-screen instructions. If you suspect a transaction is fraudulent, contact Guest Services and they’ll put you through to the bPay helpdesk. We’ll refund the transaction while we investigate. It's important to note that if your claim is not successful, we’ll reverse this refund.

If you don't recognise something on your bPay account, please get in touch with Guest Services who will contact the bPay Help Centre. We’ll refund the transaction while we investigate. It's important to note that if your claim is not successful, we’ll reverse this refund.

The wristband is for use at Center Parcs Woburn Forest during your stay only. Once your stay at Center Parcs is over you'll be able to return any funds back to your load card in the bPay app or by logging in to your bPay account online. Simply select the options in the right hand corner of your wallet and click return money. You’ll still have access to your online account.
