From the West
From the M6 Junction 40 follow the A66 east toward Brough. At the next roundabout continue on the A66 towards Appleby/Brough. Center Parcs Whinfell Forest entrance is approximately 3 miles further along the A66 on the right hand side.
From the East
From the A1(M) at Scotch Corner follow the A66 west towards Penrith. Approximately 48 miles along the A66 (after the turn off for Temple Sowerby) you will see the entrance signposted to Center Parcs Whinfell Forest on the left hand side.
Penrith train station is on the West Coast Main Line and is easily accessible from anywhere in the UK. For further information contact National Rail Enquiries on 0845 7484950 or visit www.thetrainline.com.
A taxi may be taken from the surrounding area directly to the Center Parcs Village. Search taxi companies.
If arriving after 3.30pm the Taxi will take you direct to your accommodation. If leaving before 10.30am on the day of your departure, it will also collect you direct from your accommodation. Outside these hours we offer a left luggage facility at the Security Lodge.
Local Bus Information
Buses run on a regular basis from Carlisle to Whinfell Forest via Penrith. For further information, please contact Stagecoach on 0870 608 2608. Alternatively, timetables are available for collection from the Security Lodge.
