Subtropical Swimming Paradise
At the heart of every Center Parcs break, is our incredible water park, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, heated to 29.5C all year round and decked in lush green tropical plants and trees, it’s positively balmy.
Access to the Subtropical Swimming Paradise during your break is through a pre-booking system only so be sure to pre-book and secure your place to take a dip in the pool, tackle the Wild Water Rapids, relax in our whirlpools and enjoy our exhilarating rides and slides.
You can pre-book your session from 4 weeks before you arrive.
We've made some changes
The Subtropical Swimming Paradise is open, with all rides and slides now running as normal and our wave machine is back.
To ensure the Subtropical Swimming Paradise is a safe place to splash and swim, access will continue to be via pre-bookable sessions. This video explains the measures we’re keeping in place, to give you:
Shorter queues for our rides and slides
More space to find the perfect poolside seating
Children’s water play areas that are less busy
Less crowded changing rooms
3 hour pre-bookable sessions are limited to, 3 for a 3 night break, 4 for a 4 night break and 7 for a 7 night break.
Turn up and swim with no need to book, will also be available between 6pm-9pm.
Why are we keeping pool sessions?
In line with our responsibility to do our best to keep everyone as safe as possible, access to our Subtropical Swimming Paradise will continue to be via pre-bookable sessions. This is to help us manage capacity. 3-hour pre-bookable sessions are available for each day of your stay, with the last bookable session being 5pm. From 6pm – 9pm you can turn up and swim with no need to book. This means that the last pre-bookable session with a full 3 hours of controlled entry is 3pm.
All guests with an arrival date up to 18 April 2022 are covered by our Book with Confidence Guarantee and will have the option to reschedule or cancel with a full refund 11 weeks before arrival.

Entry is available on a pre-bookable basis in 3-hour time slots, pre-bookable sessions are limited per booking to:
For a 3 night stay sessions are limited to 3 per break
For a 4 night stay sessions are limited to 4 per break
For a 7 night stay sessions are limited to 7 per break
In addition to this, turn up and swim with no need to book, will be available between 6pm-9pm.
Please pre-book and arrive 15 minutes before your time slot with your entire party
You must ensure your entire party is booked onto the same session if you all wish to visit the pool during your break
Pool sessions can be booked for free
All of our rides and slides are open from 11am to 7pm
Small lockers will be available in the pool for valuables; refreshments and pool essentials will also be available to buy (cashless payment only)
Our rides and slides
The Subtropical Swimming Paradise is the home of thrilling water rides and slides, from our gravity-defying Tropical Cyclone to our family favourite Wild Water Rapids. Rides and slides vary at each village but you're guaranteed twists, turns and drops on each one. All of our rides and slides are open from 11am to 7pm.
Children's water play areas
Let your little ones dip their toes in our water play areas with little slides, spray fountains and a splashing pool for the little ones and for older children a family water play area with fun slides, giant tipping buckets and more if they're a little more confident in the water.
Experience the Typhoon, a two-seater tube ride, which will whiz you through enclosed tunnels and soar through a labyrinth of back-to-back, 180 degree and 360 degree turns and multiple accelerating drops.
