Embark on an aquatic adventure in our tropical water park, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. Heated to 29.5C all year round and decked in lush green tropical plants and trees, it’s perfect for the whole family to enjoy, whatever the weather!
Open daily from 10am - 9pm. Opening times vary during the Christmas period. From time to time, we may have to restrict entry for your safety if we reach capacity during busier times.

Baby Dolphins
Take to the water in this fun, free pool session just for under 3’s. From singing songs to playing with inflatables, this session is a great way to introduce babies and toddlers to the joys of being in the pool.

Mini Jet Skis
Little ones can experience the thrill of riding a mini jet ski in this pool based activity. They’ll learn the art of riding a motorised, inflatable jet ski, then get to show off their new skills on our special course. Ages 3 to 7 years.

Aqua Jetting
Splash, dive, twist and turn… our exhilarating Aqua Jetting will bring out your adventurous side. You must be able to swim 25 metres to take part. Minimum age 8 years.

Underwater Scooters
Glide through the depths of the Subtropical Swimming Paradise on an exciting Underwater Sea Scooter, swooping and barrel rolling through underwater obstacles. Minimum age 14 years.

An exclusive haven in the heart of the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at Sherwood Forest, why not book a Cabana for 6-8 people in the luxury Cabana Cove? Order food and drinks directly to your Cabana or unwind in the secluded whirlpool reserved exclusively for Cabana Cove guests.

Inside the Subtropical Swimming Paradise
Changing Facilities
You’ll find individual and family changing cubicles, nappy changing facilities, and Changing Places facilities for guests with additional needs. Your wristband acts as your locker key.
Food & Drink
Ready to refuel? Head to Canopy Café and Bar for refreshments including meals, drinks, snacks and ice cream, or grab a coffee at Starbucks.
Free Buoyancy Aids
You can borrow buoyancy aids for babies and toddlers free of charge. These are located around the pool, including by the entrance.
Forgotten something?
You can buy swim nappies, inflatables and goggles at the Pool Information Desk. You can also hire towels here.
Changing Places
As part of our mission to make Center Parcs accessible for all guests, we’re pleased to introduce Changing Places facilities at all our villages within the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. These are designed for guests with additional needs, and include a mobile shower changer, hoist, wash basin and a toilet with drop-down grab rails – helping everyone to enjoy the Center Parcs experience.
