Discover the Subtropical Swimming Paradise

Heated to 29.5C all year round, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise is perfect for aquatic adventures with the whole family, whatever the weather! Cherish every playful splash with young adventurers in the water play areas, enjoy thrilling rides and slides and race down the Wild Water Rapids.

Open daily from 10am – 9pm. Opening times vary during the Christmas period. From time to time, we may have to restrict entry for your safety if we reach capacity during busier times.

Our exciting rides and slides

Laugh all the way down the Wild Water Rapids or challenge your loved ones to a race on the multi-slides. With a variety of rides and slides at each village, you’re guaranteed twists, turns and breathtaking drops!

Tropical Cyclone

Are you brave enough to take on our thrilling Tropical Cyclone raft ride? Experience the twists, turns and exhilarating gravity-defying drop together! Open daily from 11am to 7pm.

Lazy River

Take a break, lie back and let the current weave you through the palm trees. With fast and slow sections, it’s perfect for those who want a more relaxed version of the Wild Water Rapids. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Available at Woburn Forest, Elveden Forest and Longleat Forest.

Typhoon

For those of you that are seeking adrenaline-fuelled adventures, the Typhoon is guaranteed get your heart racing! Take to your raft with a friend, or family member, as you float on a thin film of water, gliding through our very own Typhoon. Minimum height 1.22 meters. Maximum individual weight 115kg (18 stone). Maximum group weight per raft 180kg (28.5 stone).

Flumes

Navigate the twists and turns of the Subtropical Swimming Paradise on our thrilling flumes. Children and grown-ups alike can enjoy hours of fun, whatever the weather.

Wild Water Rapids

The Wild Water Rapids are a firm family favourite and a must when Visiting Center Parcs. You’ll need to be a good swimmer and confident in the water - little ones must be able to swim independently. Lie back and let the water take you through the twists and turns and remember feet first!

Water Piste

Make a splash on the Water Piste! Before you take the plunge, make sure you check little ones against the height chart.

Available at Whinfell Forest, Sherwood Forest, Longleat Forest and Elveden Forest.

Grand Cascade

Hold on tight as you twist and turn down the nearly 600m long water shoot. It’s family fun at it’s finest and an experience not to be missed! Suitable for children aged 2 years and over, those under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Indoor and outdoor pools

Swim beneath the stars, hold hands and jump the waves in the Wave Pool or take a moment to relax in the bubbling Whirlpools. Each village has a unique mix of indoor and outdoor pools where the whole family can laugh, splash and play all day.

Buckets of fun for little adventurers

Little ones can dip their toe into the wonderful world of water, with slides, spray fountains and splash pools galore – whilst older children can explore the thrilling water play area with play structures, colossal tipping buckets, flumes and more!

Aquatic adventures for all ages

Baby Dolphins

Take to the water in this fun, free pool session just for under 3’s. From singing songs to playing with inflatables, this session is a great way to introduce babies and toddlers to the joys of being in the pool. Available at all locations.

Mini Jet Skis

Little ones can experience the thrill of riding a mini jet ski in this pool based activity. They’ll learn the art of riding a motorised, inflatable jet ski, then get to show off their new skills on our special course. Ages 3 to 7 years. Available at all locations.

Aqua Jetting

Splash, dive, twist and turn… our exhilarating Aqua Jetting will bring out your adventurous side. You must be able to swim 25 metres to take part. On arrival, please check in with our friendly team at the pool entrance check-in area. Minimum age 8 years. Available at all locations.

Free Buoyancy Aids

You can borrow buoyancy aids for babies and toddlers free of charge. These are located around the pool, including by the entrance.

Changing Facilities

You’ll find individual and family changing cubicles, nappy changing facilities, and Changing Places facilities for guests with additional needs. Your wristband acts as your locker key.

Forgotten something?

You can buy swim nappies, inflatables and goggles at the Pool Information Desk. You can also hire towels here.

Changing Places

As part of our mission to make Center Parcs accessible for all guests, we’re pleased to introduce Changing Places facilities at all our villages within the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. These are designed for guests with additional needs, and include a mobile shower changer, hoist, wash basin and a toilet with drop-down grab rails – helping everyone to enjoy the Center Parcs experience.
