The Lost Wishlights storybook

Deep in the forest, light-catcher Luminessa and Beacon the owl collect magical wishlights and hang them along the woodland paths, bringing hopeful light to the dark winter months. But one day, the wishlights mysteriously disappear. Where could they have gone? Two little badgers named Twiglet and Starr wouldn't happen to know anything about it... would they?

Tune in to watch the animated version of our Winter Forest Lights storybook on your lodge TV every evening between 6pm - 8:30pm.

Meet the stars of The Lost Wishlights story…

A winged fairy holds a butterfly net aloft, stepping forward to catch something; dressed in a leafy skirt with flower accents and headband, against a plain white background.

Luminessa

Luminessa is a pixie-light catcher and the main character in the story. She is quiet, gentle and kind-hearted, and she loves light of all kinds – especially wishlights!

Cartoon owl faces forward, perching calmly with folded wings. Gray feathers with pink accents, yellow beak and eyes, and yellow talons. Set against a clean white background.

Beacon the Owl

Beacon the Owl is the wisest of all the animals, and he’s old as the forest itself. He helps Luminessa, Glowbud and Gleam to hang the wishlights in the trees. See if you can find him in The Wishlight Village.

Two childlike fairies watch a tangled string overhead; one with blue wings and light pants points upward, the other with green leaf-like wings ponders, standing against a blank white background.

Glowbud and Gleam

Glowbud and Gleam are Luminessa’s pixie friends. They make special pixie string to help Luminessa and Beacon hang up the wishlights, and they love to see the forest light up with beautiful lanterns.

Two illustrated badgers face each other; one pale badger sits upright with pink paw pads, the other dark badger crouches, sniffing, against a plain white background.

Twiglet and Starr

Twiglet and Starr are the main characters in our newest story, The Lost Wishlights. Twiglet is the sweetest animal in the forest and adored by all the woodland creatures - especially the glow-worms! Starr is Twiglet's older brother, he is very protective and looks after her by bringing her juicy berries to eat and making sure their underground sett is always cosy.
