      Subtropical Swimming Paradise Pool Session

      Subtropical Swimming Paradise

      Heated to a balmy 29.5C, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise is the perfect place for the whole family, whatever the weather. Tackle the Wild Water Rapids, make a splash in the children’s water play areas or relax in our whirlpools, pre-book before you arrive to secure your place. The majority of our rides and slides are open and are available throughout all pool booking times.

      • Entry is available in 2-hour time slots and on a pre-bookable basis only. 
      • Please pre-book and arrive fifteen minutes before your time slot with your entire party
      • Pre-bookable sessions are limited per booking. 
        • For 3 and 4 night stays sessions are limited to two per break
        • For 7 night stays sessions are limited to four per break. 
      • You must ensure your entire party is booked onto the same session if you all wish to visit the pool during your break
      • There will be a small charge of 10p/c per person per session, which will be donated to Together for Short Lives /Barretstown 
      • For Longford Forest only, social distancing will be in place throughout the facility, including our changing rooms and rides and slides 
      • For Longford Forest only, please arrive already wearing swimwear under your clothes, showers and hair dryers won’t be available
      • For Longford Forest only, the wave pool will be open, but we will not be operating the wave machine
      • Baby changing facilities are guaranteed during these pool session times 8-10am, 12-2pm & 4-6pm
      • Small lockers will be available in the pool for valuables; refreshments and pool essentials will available to buy from Canopy Café and Bar (cashless payment only, refreshments available vary by village)
      • Children under 12 years should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times

      Why are we keeping pool slots for UK villages?

      The UK Prime Minister made it very clear that the pandemic is still with us. Whilst most legal restrictions have been removed, he also emphasised that the responsibility sits with all of us to do our best to keep everyone as safe as possible.

      With cases of COVID-19 increasing at this time throughout the country we are making some tough decisions that we feel are right for our guests, our colleagues and our business.  This means that we are stepping away from restrictions cautiously.  On our villages, we feel this is the responsible approach and reflects government advice. As pre-bookable pool slots help us manage capacity they help keep everyone safe and this is the reason we’re keeping them.

      We are planning to increase the number of pool slots once we feel it is safe to do so.  We are then hoping to increase swim slots further and also add an extra evening ‘turn up and swim’ session to provide additional flexibility.  Unfortunately, we cannot predict how things will pan out over the coming weeks and months and cannot therefore finalise details or dates. 

      We are sorry if this does not meet everyone’s expectations but we feel that this is the responsible approach.  We are still offering our Book with Confidence Guarantee and we are happy to help any guests that would rather move their breaks to a later date or indeed cancel with a full refund.
