Leaving Center Parcs

Our holiday at Center Parcs has been full of fun and adventure. Now it’s time to get ready to leave and go home. There are a few things we need to do before we go, like packing our things, checking the lodge, and saying goodbye. Many families do this at the end of their stay.

Packing up

On our last day, we will pack up all our things. We will gather our clothes, toys, and anything we brought with us or bought during our stay. Packing helps us make sure we take everything home with us.

Checking the Lodge

Before we leave, we will check all the rooms in our lodge. We will look in the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living area to make sure we haven’t left anything behind.

Tidying up

We will tidy up a little before we go. We can put things back where they belong, make sure the kitchen is clean, and throw away any rubbish. This helps keep the lodge nice for the next family.

Returning the keys

We will drive to the checkout area to return the keys. A staff member will be there to collect them and answer any last questions we might have. Returning the keys means we have officially checked out.

Saying goodbye

It might feel a little sad to leave, but we can remember all the fun times we had. We can talk about our favourite moments and look forward to coming back another time.

Driving home

We will start our journey home. The drive might take a while, so we can have some activities or snacks ready to enjoy in the car. Many families leave Center Parcs on the same day as us.
