Changing Place

Changing Place

We have two Changing Place facilities within our central areas. We have one situated within the village centre next to the Green Room toilets, and one at the Sports Plaza toilets which is located centrally within the building by Starbucks Café. The areas are large and there is adequate space within the facility to move around.

Provided within the facility is a mobile shower changer (medium) with a control panel to adjust the height, to a suitable height for individuals use.

There is a hoist available with full instructions on the use of the hoist next to the bed. An emergency pull cord is also present.

The toilet is a left transfer at the Village Centre facility and a right transfer at the Sports Plaza, with an emergency pull cord present at both.

The hand basin is adjustable and can be set to the correct height. User instructions are present to set the height. Staff are available should you require assistance, but are unable to assist with patient transfer.
