Policy for Guide Dogs in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and Aqua Sana Forest Spa

The Subtropical Swimming Paradise (STSP) and Aqua Sana Forest Spa areas are hot, humid, sometimes noisy, environments which may be challenging for dogs.

Guests requiring either access for their assistance dogs to the Subtropical Swimming Paradise or Aqua Sana Forest Spa, or for their dog to be looked after whilst they are in the area, should make themselves known to the manager to discuss their requirements. Should you wish to contact us in advance of your visit to make arrangements we will make your visit as smooth as possible.

Arrangements can be made for staff to care for your assistance dog in a setting which is cooler and less humid than the pool area and will be agreed with the assistance dog handler.  This will normally be a cool, fairly quiet area with water provided, where the dog can rest with little disturbance.

The assistance dog handler will then be given any reasonable assistance in and around the Subtropical Swimming Paradise or Aqua Sana Forest Spa as required, although this is often given by the friends /family. The assistance dog handler will be asked to inform staff when they are leaving so they can be reunited with your assistance dog.

Should you wish to bring the dog poolside, please ensure that it is exercised immediately beforehand.  Dogs will be permitted in all poolside areas but may not enter the water or any Aqua Sana Experience Rooms.  Guests must be responsible for the dog whilst poolside or in the spa and the dog must not be left unattended.  Please note, our poolside staff cannot supervise dogs.

Arrangements will be made during the time that the assistance dog is in Center Parcs’ care to ensure its evacuation in the event of a fire alarm or other emergency evacuation.
