Sports Plaza

A bike park is situated very close to the main entrance of the Sports Plaza

The main entrance to the Sports Plaza has double door entry leading straight into the main walkway.

The Sports Plaza is the closest location to the following outdoor activities:

  • Outdoor tennis courts
  • Outdoor bowling green
  • Outdoor play area
  • Action Challenge

A lift and stairs provide access to the snooker and pool hall on the first floor level.

The main sports hall is on the lower levels. The lower levels are accessible via stairs and a ramped walkway. All other areas of the Sports plaza are at ground floor level.

Toilets

Accessible toilets are available at ground level within the Sports Plaza close to the central walkway, between Joules and Sports Café.

Changing Facilities

Accessible changing facilities are located within the Sports Plaza within the two family changing rooms. There is an accessible toilet and changing area which incorporates a shower.

Induction Hearing Loops

A portable induction loop is available for use throughout the Sports Plaza.

It is normally located at the Leisure Bookings desk.

Leisure Bookings Point

We have 5 booking points at the leisure desk and a lowered part of the desk at the equipment hire area.

Squash and Interactive Squash

There are a set of steps down to the squash courts. There is also access through an external door.

The Gym

The gym is located over two levels towards the lower area of the Sports Plaza.Access to the upper level is via a ramp and a short set of steps, access to the lower level is via a ramp and a flight of steps, external ramped access is available. The gym does not include adapted equipment. Please ring the Leisure Bookings number 01768 893052 to establish if the gym will be suitable for you.

Center Parcs does not provide free weights.

Indoor Climbing Activity

Access on the lower level of the Sports Plaza this is accessed down the ramped walkway.

Dance Studio

This is located on the first floor level of the Sports Plaza. There is a lift and stairs that can provide access to this area.

Roller Rink

This is accessed by stairs or a ramped walkway, from the main walkway.

Outdoor Bowling Green

There is a ramp down to the green.

External Tennis Courts

Courts 2 and 3 have level access through the bike park as well as a stepped entrance.

Courts 6 and 7 are accessed via steps from the Sports Plaza. There is a flat route via Moorland and Fell View, however please note this would be very long route.

All the courts have ramped access, but some courts have an extra stepped entrance in addition to the ramped access. 

Astro Turf Outdoor Pitch

Accessed by a stepped entrance or ramped access

Football Pool

Accessed on the lower level of the Sports Plaza via a ramped walkway or steps.
