"Visited Centerparcs for the Winter wonderland every year when our children were younger but haven't been for 9 years.
Returned with an 18 and 16 year old and loved it just as much for all the same reasons.
The lodge was beautiful.
The facilities were excellent.
The forest is stunning and
Family time was the best.
Thank you Centerparcs for giving us so many special memories"
Winter Wonderland
@Jess B- January 2024, Whinfell Forest
"This was our second trip to Whinfell and we were delighted that we’d booked again. We knew what to expect and it certainly didn’t disappoint! We loved the Winter Wonderland, especially the enchanted light garden which really extends the magic of Christmas into the New Year.
As always, the lodge was fantastic and the Village centre was beautiful. Our favourite things to do are Swimming, swimming and more swimming!! It’s just so easy and accessible, we spend 3 hours in there without realising. Our 5 year old son also enjoyed the mini jeep driving adventure and the ten pin bowling. He also loved the pantomime. Can’t wait to plan our next Centre Parcs adventure!"
"The villa is cosy, comfortable and the log burner is a must. Subtropical paridise pool is second to none, and fun can be had by all ages. The forest itself is awesome, wildlife and peace and serinity as you walk around day or night. There are plenty of places to eat, shop.
The hardest thing to do is leave on checkout day. Already planning next year's visit"
Relaxation Redefined: My Weekend Getaway at Center Parcs
@R W- January 2024, Sherwood Forest
"We recently embarked on a weekend escape to Center Parcs, and the experience left us thoroughly relaxed and invigorated. Nestled amidst nature's embrace, the resort offers a serene haven that seamlessly blends tranquility with exciting activities.
From the moment we entered, the crisp winters surroundings created an instant sense of calm. The picturesque woodland landscapes and updated, well-maintained pathways set the stage for a peaceful retreat. The accommodation, tucked away in the heart of nature, provided a cozy and comfortable sanctuary to unwind.
Center Parcs boasts a remarkable array of activities that cater to various interests. We could choose from the options of cycling through scenic trails (with free cycles provided on our break), enjoying a leisurely boat ride, or partaking in wellness sessions, the options are diverse and accessible. The blend of adventure and relaxation was perfectly balanced, allowing us to tailor our weekend to match our mood.
The subtropical swimming paradise was a highlight of our stay, offering a tropical oasis complete with soothing waters, thrilling slides, (we particularly enjoyed the Tropical Cyclone ride and the rapids) and lush greenery. It provided an exhilarating contrast to our quiet moments spent by the lake. Dining options at Center Parcs were plentiful. The diverse range of restaurants offered attractive, well presented meals, catering to various tastes.
Center Parcs claims a commitment to sustainability, this is evident in their eco-friendly initiatives. The resort vehicles are now electrified and quiet in operation and housekeeping staff still do the bulk of their travel around the site on bicycles. As I reflect on my weekend at Center Parcs, I am left with a profound sense of rejuvenation. The harmonious blend of nature, activities, and relaxation created an atmosphere that allowed me to escape the demands of daily life. I was looking for a weekend break but found a retreat that combined serenity with excitement, Center Parcs is undoubtedly a haven for my soul."

Winter Wonderland 2023
@Lisa J- November 2023, Elveden Forest
"We had an amazing week at Elveden Forest we stayed during winter Wonderland. Everything was amazing,the lodge was clean and spacious, everything we needed was provided, the towels were changed half way through the week. The swimming complex was great, very clean ,lots of staff about cleaning and sweeping the floors, spacious changing room ,family and single ones. Large lockers and plenty of showers to use before and after swimming.
The activities that we booked were great. We cooked mostly in the lodge bit there was plenty of restaurants to choose from ,we had coffee and cake at a few ,prices similar to high street coffee shops.
Decent sized supermarket with everything you might need. Lovely shops where prices ranged. The site was spotlessly clean, plenty of maintenance staff,cleaning staff around at all times. Fantastic children's play park which my grandson loved,a small beach to play on aswell. The best part was the winter Wonderland itself,snow capped christmas tree,fairy lights,elfs,lots of interactive games eg,find your elf name.Father christmas in his workshop, I could go on and on.
On arrival we recieved a letter for my grandson to fill in and post and the day before we left he recieved a wonderful reply, also after collecting all the elf stickers and completing the elf passport he was give a soft toy. We all had a brilliant stay ,we could not fault centrparcs one bit."
"Center parcs winter wonderland is magical for children. The Parc is lit up and Santa's village is a must to enjoy singing reindeer and of course a visit to the man himself. Added to the magic is of course the subtropical pool which can be used multiple times. Plenty of restaurant choices or snuggle up in your lodge and self cater while playing board games and having fun. Activities are available for all ages (at a cost) All in all a great break for all the family to enjoy some quality time together"
Center Parcs Christmas visit
@Julie S- December 2023, Woburn Forest
"The Christmas experience was put together exceptionally well for all the family. There was so much to do. Santa’s letters and replies were fantastic. Father Christmas and his elves were patient and very entertaining. Christmas lights were beautiful and so was the artificial snow. Lodges were spotlessly clean as were the cooking utensils, cups etc. Our grandchildren loved it."
