Some of our guests have shared with us what they think about Center Parcs. Read what our families have to say about their short break and what they enjoy most.
The Shields Family
"We have been to Center Parcs lots of times. This is our sixth or seventh visit," Brian Shields explained when we met him with his wife Siobhan and children, Luke and Lucy. "We’re just on our way to your favourite family activity – Aerial Tree Trekking. We also enjoy getting out on our bike and cycling around the forest together."
The Bennett Family
"We love following the children around the forest while they’re using up all of their energy," Richard Bennett laughed. “By the evening they’ll be exhausted, which is perfect. "The best thing about Center Parcs is that there’s no traffic here – we don’t have to use the car all week, which is a big thing for us. Plus we know Ellie, Robbie and Finlay will be safe while cycling."
The Harlow Family
The Harlow Family were taking a walk through Whinfell Forest when they told us about their favourite things about Center Parcs. "We come here every year and there’s so much to do," said Lauren."We enjoy swimming, Pottery Painting and even horse riding, although getting out on our bikes is the best because we love being amongst the trees – we even saw red squirrels yesterday."
We met Juliette Downs and her son Kain who were enjoying a short break for Kain's fourth birthday at Longleat Forest. "We've come away to have fun with the birthday boy," she said. "We have lots of balloons and cake in our lodge, so we will really have a break to remember."
The Smith Family
Three generations of the Smith family were taking a break when we caught up with them at Whinfell Forest. Children Oliver and Millie were keen to tell us about how much they enjoy the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, while their grandmother, Jane explained that she prefers to take things at a slower pace: "I like walking around the forest. I think it's relaxing to just take your time and enjoy nature. The birdsong this morning was particularly beautiful."
Before you arrive at Center Parcs you can pre-book activities, make restaurant reservations and order online essentials including groceries to your Lodge, allowing you to really make the most of your short break.
