"I recently had an incredible family holiday at Centre Parcs, and it was an absolute delight! The cycling and walking trails through nature were so enjoyable, and being surrounded by such natural beauty was truly refreshing. The best part was paying extra to stay in lodges close to our family, as it allowed the kids to have a blast going from one lodge to another independently.
The night time cycle rides were a unique and thrilling experience, and the family swim sessions were a definite highlight too. We opted to self-cater to keep costs low, but we couldn't resist splurging on some treats and other activities, which added an extra layer of fun to our trip.
One of the best aspects of the holiday was how accommodating it was for all age ranges. Each member of the family got to choose their own activities, which kept everyone engaged and happy. While activities like Badminton and Pool might not sound incredibly exciting, playing with extended family members made it an absolute joyous experience.
Overall, our Centre Parcs family holiday was a memorable and fantastic experience, with the perfect blend of nature, adventure, and quality family time. We can't wait to go back again!"
Don't worry about the weather, masses of activities to please the whole family.

"Despite the weather all and in particular the kids had a fantastic time. Fantastic choice of activities that covered all ages, the kids loved the play area, the boats and the range of sporting activities but there favourite was the swimming pool. While they were to young for a lot of the slides they made full use of the ones they could go on!
Choice of dining options were very good, the Pancake House being our particular favourite.
Accommodation was really nice , spacious living area, good size bed and bath rooms and outdoor seating and barbecue area. We cooked a couple of nights and the kitchen was well equipped.
All in All a very enjoyable few days"
"First time stay at Centre Parcs so didn’t know what to expect?
Well it’s truly been amazing from start to finish, we arrived Friday and left on Monday and stayed in a Woodland lodge, Cedar 279. Location is about 20 min walk so a bit further than we would have liked (but we re lazy!). Lodge was so cosy, clean and had everything in we needed, lots of wildlife visiting us too, including a swan!.
We went swimming, again, brilliant. Clean pool and changing facilities. Great flumes and rapids lots of fun.
All staff we spoke to were happy and so very helpful, we were sad to leave.
Enjoyed it so much, we ve booked for next year for a week and also booked an allocated lodge closer to the facilities.
Thank you Centre parcs! We ve had such a wonderful holiday with you!"
Amazing weekend away
@Foxherts- July 2023, Sherwood Forest
"We absolutely loved our break away. We have been other centre Parcs but this was our first time at Sherwood.
My biggest recommendation is if you are doing the Fri-mon break, definitely go swimming Friday afternoon!! Before you can get into your lodge. The pool was so much quieter, we didn’t have to queue for slides. And it’s so easy to park your car in the car park and just walk across to the pool. We went and got in our car about 5pm and drove to our lodge. Doing this was stress and hassle free.
We stayed in Oak 530, I loved the location of this lodge. It was a 6 minute walk to the village square, an easy quick walk.
We swam and eat in on Friday. Did babminton Saturday morning. Had lunch in the pancake house, went on a 6 person electric boat and children played in the playgrounds Saturday afternoon. We ate in cafe rouge Saturday evening. On Sunday we went swimming again but this time took our towels and bags through the changing rooms and set up a little camp, so at lunch we got stuff from Starbucks in the pool area. We then had roast dinner in the foresters inn and explored the nature trail and country club. Then Sunday evening done ten pin bowling and sat in the sports cafe while the children played in the soft play and arcade area.
We had an amazing time, I was sad to come home. Already saving up so I can return. Woburn is our closest and is lovely as feels newer but Sherwood was worth the further drive as it is so pretty and nicely laid out"
"Decided to try centreparcs as a family of three adults, our grown up son has autism and a learning disability. We thought we would try Centreparcs in the hope that he would cope better with a more structured routine that he had helped us plan.
Lodges are lovely - quiet, well equipped, clean and comfortable, we were frequently visited by rabbits, squirrels, deer and woodpeckers.
The parc itself is fantastic, more to do than you could possibly fit in in one visit. The pool is the warmest we have ever been in and again lots to do in each area of it.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful and the area was always very clean.
The land train is an added bonus if your lodge is slightly further out or you just fancy a little tour about the parc area.
All in all I wish we'd visited years ago but hopefully we will get a chance to visit again."
3rd visit in 7 months
@Ica291- July 2023, Longleat Forest
"How we have managed to visit longleat center parcs 3 times in 7 months, I'm still trying to get my head around. We visited in January as a Christmas present from in laws and my daughter learnt to ride a bike on that visit. The fairy village and Christmas lights were so magical! We then decided to go back in May because they had both come so far in their swimming and bike riding that it would be a different experience. And it was! We had a fantastic time and we went everywhere, did lots of things, painted some pottery which was thoroughly enjoyable, and a highlight for the grown ups! We then had a very poorly little boy a couple of months later, who had a hospital stay to get better, the only thing he talked about whilst poorly was center parcs. So the in laws sent us again, once he was better to cheer him up from his ordeal. So off we went again. You'd think we would be sick of it by then. But honestly, we love it. All of it. The kids love it. We are so happy when we are there. The trees, the wildlife, the restaurants, the pool, the activities, we have had the best time. I wish we could go 3 times every year, but I think we'll definitely go once a year from now on 💜"
"We've been to several Center Parcs before and this was our second stay at Elveden. We had a great time and we'd highly recommend. The lodge was beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed in it. We loved that we had daily visits form the deer, geese, squirrels, other birds etc... right up to our window. We were a short cycle away from the centre, which again was nice given we had 2 littleuns with us.
We did a lot of additional activities: tennis, rowing on the lake, mini trek, aerial tree trek, roller tots, mini archery, bowling, and of course LOTS of swimming every day. These were all brill and the kids loved it.
We're not a big "eating out" family, and we have some allergies, so we took our slow cooker - we'd dump our ingredients in it in the morning, and when we came back from a fun day of activity, our dinner was all made! Fresh, hot and completely allergen free. That said, we did pop out for the occasional cafe trip (Starbucks and Pancake House) and they were really good with allergens.
In short - a top stay, we're very grateful to the CP team. Thanks!"
Five very enjoyable days for three generation family
@Nicola- July 2023, Elveden Forest
"We loved our Monday to Friday stay at Elveden Centreparcs. We stayed in one of the three spectacular waterside lodges with its cantilevered platform over the lake. We took fishing rods and one was supplied. Our grandchildren loved the safe fishing experience. The weather was better than expected so the children were able to enjoy the mini landrover driving experience in the fantastic outdoor activity area in the pine forest. The new adventure play area is great for younger children and I understand the kids disco from 6-8pm every evening is very good although ours were a little too young as it was close to their bedtime. The climbing walls in the indoor sports facility were brilliant with good young instructors. Whatever the weather Centreparcs is a well worthwhile holiday experience."
Center parcs 2023 with my family
@Chloe L- July 2023, Elveden Forest
"I come to center parcs every year, whether it’s with family or friends. Last week my family and I visited Elevdon , my parents hadn’t been since before Covid. Like always we had the best time, especially celebrating my dads birthday. The accommodations, and grounds are all well kept, and the staff are so lovely. The changing rooms have now been re newed and has really made a great difference. The pool is amazing and love it each time we go. Myself and my friends are off to Sherwood in September and I cannot wait."
"Wonderful short family break with teenagers. Stayed in an Executive Lodge which was great with en suites for all. Loved the sauna too. Activities were great as always, favourite was the Drop for the teenagers. Aqua Sana Spa is outstanding, best one I’ve been to both in and out of Centerparcs. Best restaurants were Las Iguanas and Amalfi. All staff attentive, particularly those on the Aerial Adventure and the Drop on Wednesday and the Indoor Climbing on Thursday. Great water park too"
Outstanding everything
@Mrs H- July 2023, Woburn Forest
"Absolutely fantastic weekend at Woburn. From making the booking to departure, our weekend was faultless. Everything at centreparcs Woburn is pure top class. The staff are so amazingly friendly, the accommodation is so perfect, the facilities are abundant and there is just something for everyone. We needed the medical team and they arrived swiftly and dealt with our needs compassionately and professionally. The super friendly handyman came to fix our lock in no time… the pool is great fun, the bike hire service is fantastic .. we needed to change a bike and it was all sorted in an instant. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone here and it made our stay beyond perfect, plenty of places to eat and drink and the little store on the site is well stocked with everything you’ll need for a weekend away. Thank you centreparcs… we will definitely be back ♥️"
Absolutely brilliant
@Nirvana196- July 2023, Woburn Forest
"We had a wonderful time! We loved the activities and the subtropical paradise. The aerial tree trekking was so much fun and we would happily do it again. The restaurants are great and all of the staff are kind and helpful, they are a real credit to you.
We are already thinking of booking our next break it was that good.
