General hints and tips
Don’t forget to bring your everyday toiletries
Bring some board games to play in your lodge, ideal for if you have some downtime or if the weather takes a turn
If you have your own cycles, why not bring them with you? But if you don’t have space in your car, you can pre-book and pick them up from the Cycle Centre
Forgotten your bike lock? You can hire one at the Cycle Centre
Don’t forget your phone or camera to capture the special moments during your break
Bring milk, tea and coffee for that first hot drink in your lodge, or head to the ParcMarket to pick up your groceries
If you want to visit our restaurants or try our activities, it’s best to pre-book to avoid disappointment
We provide you with three dishwasher tablets and a sachet of washing up liquid. For any extras needed, bring them along or buy them at the ParcMarket
All our villages are cashless and can no longer accept cash payments, including for the purchase of gift cards.
Bring the correct clothing
Comfortable shoes and clothing for exploring the forest
You can’t predict the British weather so make sure to come prepared for sunny days with sunglasses, plenty of t-shirts, shorts and, of course, plenty of sun cream
For greyer days, don't forget your raincoats, wellies and some warm cosy clothes
There are no laundry facilities available when in the forest

What you need for the Subtropical Swimming Paradise
Packing can sometimes be a nightmare when you have little ones to make sure you remember everything from home. Here is a list of what you might need during your break:
