Fantastic week at Whinfell Forest

Had a fantastic week at Whinfell Forest with family. Lots of activities to choose from, loved the swimming & ten pin bowling. The food at Hucks was lovely but the best meal was at the Sports Cafe (katsu loaded fries & gammon steak were amazing). The caving adventure was awesome too. My teenagers loved the aerial adventure and quad bikes as well as field archery. Our lodge was ideally situated (Moorland view area) and was lovely & clean as were all the facilities and we really enjoyed cycling through the forest. Will definitely be back soon.

Visiting Whinfell is like coming home. We’ve been fortunate enough to be able to visit each year (except 2020 due to COVID) for over the last 14 years. We always find the accommodation to be spotless and in good order, beds are comfortable and linen and towels fresh and clean. Fully equipped kitchen for our needs. We like to eat out and pre-book restaurants prior to our stay to avoid disappointment. The Sports Cafe is great because you don’t pre-book that so can visit whenever suits. The swimming area has been refreshed since my last visit and a new slide has been built, teenagers loved the slides! All our party enjoyed the Pottery Painting this year, very relaxing 90 minutes activity. Tree top trek, paddle boarding, badminton, adventure golf and bowling were all fantastic. Staff are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoy all the wildlife that visits the area behind the lodge and this is a highlight of our stays

Sherwood Forest

Family winter wonderland break

Our first time at sherwood. We visited during winter wonderland as a family of four. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. From the moment we arrived everything was fantastic. We stayed in an executive new style lodge. The location on the park was great for us. The whole place was spotless this was Credit to Kim and Les. We loved Santa’s village the decorations are amazing and so much effort has been made to make it all so magical. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool especially the rapids and slides. The pancake house deserves a mention too it was excellent. The staff are super helpful and friendly. A special weekend making memories.

Amazing weekend with 5 older teenagers. The activities were fabulous we chose Segway , Ariel adventure and bowling. All we’re able to participate and great to get the family altogether . Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

Longleat Forest

Great family break

So much fun for the whole family. In our party there were 5 adults, a teenager and 2 babies under 2. I can honestly say there was something for everyone and we all loved every minute. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. We can not wait to go back.

Fun for the whole family

It was our first holiday as a family with our 2 year old and 6 year old. We were joined by our extended family with teenagers and grandma. It was fantastic for every age group. The high standards across the whole resort were exceptional. Everywhere was maintained to the highest standard and super clean. Amazing considering the amount of people that visit and how busy the area especially the swimming and changing room were still spotless. Our lodge was spotless and will stocked with any basics you would need for a long weekend. Everyone who works in the resort were genuinely happy and very helpful. Every restaurant we ate at was amazing, every activity was super and especially the child care workers in the Activity Den.
I was not sure about spending all this money on a trip to Center Parcs having had such lovely holidays abroad before children but We had the very best experience and can’t wait to go back. The Spa is a wonderful treat for the adults.

Elveden Forest

Wonderful family time. We went for a birthday celebration. 2 adults and 2 teens. The kids felt like they could be independent but we did a lot of activities together too. We stayed in an executive lodge and it was super clean and comfy. Absolutely loved our stay and want to go back. The Winter lights were a magical touch.

Woburn Forest

Excellent short break for family with teenagers

Wonderful short family break with teenagers. Stayed in an Executive Lodge which was great with en suites for all. Loved the sauna too. Activities were great as always, favourite was the Drop for the teenagers. Aqua Sana Spa is outstanding, best one I’ve been to both in and out of Centerparcs. Best restaurants were Las Iguanas and Amalfi. All staff attentive, particularly those on the Aerial Adventure and the Drop on Wednesday and the Indoor Climbing on Thursday. Great water park too

It was our first time at Center Parcs and we had a fantastic time. The staff made our holiday, they were so helpful, friendly and really went out of their way to make sure your having a good time. We did Kayaking and Archery and loved it. Can't wait to go back again

At what age can our teenage children come to Center Parcs on their own?

You must be aged 18 years or over to make a booking at Center Parcs. Under 18s must be accompanied by at least one adult on a break.

Are there any age limits for the activities that our teenage kids can take part in?

There are plenty of activities for teenagers, including indoor, outdoor and watersports activities! Discover our activities for different ages:

Which of the activities require adult supervision?

All children under 8 years taking part in activities must have parental supervision unless the activity expressly states it is supervised by us. It may also be requested in other instances.

What is the best time of the year to book a break with our teenage children?

What features are available in the accommodation to entertain our teenage children?

All our lodges include a private patio and barbecue stand so you can get everyone together for a family barbecue. Some of our lodges include a private games room, perfect for keeping teenagers entertained!

Can my kids bring their games consoles to the lodge?

We advise against bringing your own DVD/games console players. Please remember that any available sockets in your accommodation will not have been electrically tested for equipment like this. This means any accident that occurs as a result of using this equipment would be your responsibility. Additionally, your items will not be covered if they are lost or stolen. We highly recommend that all electrical items you wish to bring are PAT tested before using them at Center Parcs.

Can we order takeaways to be delivered to our accommodation if we want to eat in?

Yes, you can order takeaways to your lodge from our on-site delivery service, Restaurant Runner – perfect for a cosy night in after an action-packed day!
