Center Parcs 2023 Wrap Up

Tropical Cyclone, our thrilling, gravity-defying raft ride, was opened at Whinfell Forest, meaning all of our villages have this 4 person slide, so there is no excuse not to have ticked it off your bucket list!

In April, the newly refurbished playground outside Sports Café was opened for little adventurers to explore. With brand new play equipment, structures and sensory experiences, our younger guests can climb to the top of the large castle, play the starring role on the theatre stage, make some noise on the music play panels or try out the wheelchair-accessible carousel and castle.

Our new Electric Vehicle charging points were introduced at all of our villages, allowing guests to pre-book a space online for piece of mind.

This year we introduced our brand-new Woodland Explorer Lodge, only at Sherwood Forest! This lodge is packed with a variety of fun features for children and luxurious touches for grown-ups – from a themed children’s bedroom to an outdoor snuggle pod and TV, all offering an unforgettable break in the forest for fun-loving families.

We have upgraded a number of our 3-bedroom Executive Lodges at Woburn Forest, with the addition of brand-new private hot tubs, which at Woburn Forest were only available in our Exclusive Lodges and Treehouses. We plan to upgrade some more of these in 2024

We are constantly giving our lodges a refresh, and this year was no different! In total 543 lodges have been refurbished across all 5 of our UK villages.

This brand-new immersive, indoor family activity launched at Whinfell Forest this year, where you travel through four forest themed zones, solving puzzles as you go. In 2024 this activity will also be available at Longleat and Sherwood Forest.  

Littles ones learned to balance and scoot in style on these specially-designed scooters in our new Little Scooters sessions that launched at Elveden and Longleat Forest this year. 

We made some exciting updates to our Aerial Tree Trekking course at Whinfell Forest, adding brand-new obstacles to tackle and even a new mini zip wire. 

Following the successful introduction of Restaurant Runner at Woburn Forest in September 2022, we introduced this at all our villages, replacing DiningIn. The concept allows our guests to order from multiple restaurants with only one delivery fee.

Back in May, Las Iguanas was opened at Sherwood Forest. Already available at Woburn Forest, Longleat Forest, and Elveden Forest, we knew this would be a hit with our guests, giving you the chance to explore the exotic flavours of Latin America, Mexico and Brazil.

Following on from months of innovation, research, and lots of tasting, we revamped our Rajinda Pradesh menu! The new offering includes Masala Loaded Fries, Bang Bang Potatoes, and Slow Cooked Lamb Shank, all of which have gone down a treat with our guests.

This autumn Aqua Sana Elveden Forest unveiled its brand-new £6.5 million Forest Spa, the biggest refurbishment in Aqua Sana history completely transforming the space into an immersive, multi-sensory Forest Spa escape. With 25 different spa experiences including the unique sauna experience, The Nest.

Taking inspiration from our surroundings, the forest, Vitalé Café Bar at Woburn Forest underwent a refresh. Bringing the outside in with decorative foliage and large glass windows that allow you to enjoy your lunch or afternoon treat whilst looking out into the trees.

A five-year journey in the making, the Natural Glow skincare range marked Aqua Sana’s very first own brand line of beauty products. The collection is made up of five key products; a cleanser, toner, face polish, moisturiser and serum, engineered to stimulate collagen and elastin production, acting as a natural facelift whilst also balancing skin tone and closing pores.

An Aqua Sana exclusive. The Natural Glow Facial will leave your skin looking illuminated and feeling renewed. Using microcurrent technology alongside traditional massage techniques to lift, firm and contour your face.

Adventure Golf at Sherwood Forest underwent an exciting upgrade, with two brand-new, nature-themed 9-hole courses: Forest Track and Woodland Way.

Back at the start of the year, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at Sherwood Forest welcomed a new addition, Cabana Cove. Featuring 4 Cabana's, exclusive use of a private whirlpool, and the option to order food directly to the cabana. 

The old Caving Adventure area was transformed into 2 new Squash Courts. The new Interactive Squash courts feature state-of-the-art technology and a variety of games for all the family.

We made some exciting changes to Santa's Woodland Village at Sherwood Forest! With a brand-new Christmas Shop, new photo opportunity, The Nest, and a completely tranformed Santa's Woodland Workshop, complete with themed sections and exciting displays.

Also new for 2023 was Elf Pyjama Party. Little ones can join our elves for the party of the season - dressed in their best Christmas pyjamas! It's a festive adventure with Christmas crafts, party games and a magical storytelling session with their new elf friends.

Another new addition this year was Brunch With Santa - this magical family experience includes a delicious brunch at Huck’s, roaming entertainment from our playful elves, and a special visit from Santa at your table.
